The 2018 Intermountain Gender and Sexuality Conference was hosted by Idaho State University during mid-April, multiple great presentations were capped off by the keynote presentation.

Rae Lynn Schwartz-Dupree of Western Washington University delivered the keynote which focuses on Curious George as an example of contemporary colonialism.

Later in the conference, the annual Dine and Debate were held featuring the affirmative Nick Grunig and Conner Coutts vs Negative Jack Bradley and Squid Montieth. The topic for the debate was "The United States Should Reintroduce and Ratify the Equal Rights Amendment."
